Mana Wahine
Tue 07 Jun 2016 to Sat 11 Jun 2016
Q Theatre
Okareka Dance Company's contemporary dancers return to preform Mana Wahine at the Q Theatre, inspired by the True story of Te Aokapurangi. A story about a young heroine who saves her people from death on Mokoia Island.
Mana Wahine is a collage of imagery using amazing audio visual and lighting design. Using five talented dancers, a composer and three well-known choreographers to kindle the spiritual status of "the woman" within us all.
