Te Toi Uku Crown Lynn & Clayworks Museum

Te Toi Uku Crown Lynn & Clayworks Museum tells the story of commercial pottery in West Auckland, focussing on Crown Lynn. Our collection includes many of the iconic wares made by Crown Lynn which could be found in almost every New Zealand household from the 1950s to the 1980s.

The museum is located on the original site of the Gardner Brothers & Parker brickworks and beside the 1926 kiln which is the last remaining structure relating to the West Auckland brick industry.

We offer events, including the Crown Lynn Collector’s Market twice a year and a programme of talks on Crown Lynn for groups (for a small fee). Please contact us for a programme.

Entry is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
