Nikau Cave Bush & Waterfall Walk

Five minutes’ walk from the café is the bush and waterfall walk, a circuit walk with two sections.

From the bridge there is a half hour circular walk with numbers identifying plants such as hanging orchids and points of special interest like the child sized holes in the limestone cliff.

A book with corresponding numbers and laminated photos is available for use at Nikau Cave and Café, as is a map for the track extension to the waterfall.

Nearly three decades ago Philip and Anne Woodward identified an area of environmental significance on their property and secured a QEII open space covenant of 6.5 hectares.

Tracks have been created by Philip and Anne and now extend to a waterfall in an adjacent 2.5 hectare bush remnant which was covenanted in 2008.

Please enquire at the café for directions to waterfall.
